The Savannah Ghost Pirates announced today the club has acquired forward Cole Stallard from the Iowa Heartlanders in exchange for goaltender Darion Hanson.

Stallard, 28, has recorded nine goals and six assists this season with the Heartlanders. The 6-foot-2 forward is a native of Woodstock, GA. Stallard played college hockey at SUNY-Plattsburgh and spent two seasons in the SPHL before making his ECHL debut last year in Iowa.

Hanson, 25, was Savannah's first signing in franchise history, joining the club in the summer. Hanson went 3-5 with the Ghost Pirates in 2022-23, sporting a goals-against average of 2.97 and a save percentage of .913. The East Bethel, MN native made his American Hockey League debut this season with the Cleveland Monsters.
